Debt Help, Auto Loans

If you fail to make payments on an auto loan, the lender may repossess your car.  After the repossession, the lender usually sells the car at auction.

Example: $10,000 Amount the car sold for at auction
$15,000 Outstanding loan balance
$5,000 Difference

More often than not the amount that car is sold for at the auction is less than the amount of the loan.  The lender has the option to sue you and obtain a deficiency judgment against you for the difference.  Using the example above, the lender would obtain a deficiency judgment against you for $5,000 plus attorneys’ fees and court costs.

If you have a deficiency judgment against you, the lender can enforce judgment through a bank levy, asset seizure or wage garnishment.  We can help you negotiate a settlement directly with the lender for something less than the full balance.  We do not charge any upfront legal fees for this service.  Our fee is based on the amount we save you based off the original balance.  In other words if we don’t save you money, you don’t pay us a dime.
